How to access from 1 April 2022

From 1 April 2022, for access to museums, archaeological parks, exhibitions, archives, libraries and other places of culture, the possession of the reinforced green pass, or the basic one, is no longer required. The obligation to use surgical masks remains.

• Teachers (with attested document, MIUR form)
• MIBAC employees (with attested document)
• Regione Lazio employees
• LAZIOcrea employees
• Teatro di Roma employees

Free entrance:

• Up to 5 years-old children
• Under 18 years old (family package)
• Children 6 – 10 years old who book a visit lab;
• School groups who book an educational visit;
• Residents in Santa Marinella;
• People with disabilities (and free ticket also for their accompanying carers);
• Guides;
• Possessors of I.C.O.M card (International Council of Museums);
• University students of: archaeology, art history, cultural heritage, architecture (with attested document)
• Journalists (with Press Card)

If you want to visit only the Antiquarium (state property), you have to follow the reduced or free admission tickets as established by MIBACT

Family tickets: € 16,00 2 adults (parents) + up to 17 year-old children
The ticket is valid for only 1 entrance per day 

Authorized external tourist guides are allowed to accompany the groups.

The combined ticket includes the access also to the following museums: 

• Pyrgi Antiquarium. Opening times: from April 9.00-19.00 (summer opening).  Closing times: Mondays; Booking: no temporarily closed
• Fortresss and Castle Museum. The visitors of the new museum areas can enjoy virtual reality effects thanks to multi-touch monitors and viewers.
  Virtual realiy experience is pin the Nostromo hall and it’s included in the price ticket. temporarily closed
• Museum of Sea and Ancient Navigation temporarily closed
• Museum of the Territory (by booking) temporarily closed
• Manica Lunga (in case of extraordinary events)

How to access from 10 January 2022

Access to “exhibitions, museums and other places of culture (including archives and libraries)” is allowed only with a reinforced Green Pass, COVID-19 green certification for vaccination or recovery. The strengthened green pass does not therefore include carrying out a rapid or molecular antigen test.
