From Sunday 1 July until 31 August, the “castle kissed by the sea” changes visiting hours, in fact the ordinary opening to the monumental complex is moved from 16.00 and until 23.00 thanks to the arrival of summer and the new artistic lighting of the medieval manor, recently inaugurated by the president of Regione Lazio Nicola Zingaretti and built by Acea Illuminazione Pubblica, offers visitors the opportunity to enter the castle even at night. It is also possible to visit the castle in the morning with fixed departure visits, every hour from 10.30 am with appointment at the ticket office.

The evenings at the Castle become longer, to meet the needs of visitors, who after a day at sea can have fun with the events and shows scheduled. In fact, already the first week of July is a succession of proposals suitable for everyone. It starts on Sunday, July 1 with the meeting with Lino Guanciale, continuing with the last day of the Sea food festival, dedicated to fish cuisine, in the square of the Fontanile. For lovers of archeology, Thursday, July 5, an interesting proposal with the routes Moon Rays on Pyrgi with visits at 21.00 and 22.30 at the Antiquarium and the polygonal walls. Friday 6 July at 9.15 pm for the Summer conference cycle, in the Barrozze courtyard is the vault of “Journey to Carthage: The sea routes in antiquity: explorations and systems constructions” by Flavio Enei (Museum of the Sea and della Navigazione Antica), and Fulvio Forino, creator of the Festival of complexity. And then many more events with a calendar full of upcoming events.
