On May 18th, the second edition of the “Festival della Lettura ad alta voce”, an expressive reading education project proposed by the Center for Book and Reading and by Regione Lazio was held. Fifteen schools from the five territories of Lazio participated in the project, engaged in a work process on texts of classical and contemporary fiction that began at the beginning of the year. On the day of the Final Contest at the Castle of Santa Severa, with the collaboration of LAZIOcrea, MiBACT, Municipality of Santa Marinella and Coopculture, the scepter of “Real Readers” was assigned to a couple of students, for each school order . They are winners:

Class IVC of I.C. Carmine, Alceste Grandori of Viterbo, readers Lucia Pasquali and Giancarlo Cinti.

Classes: IIB of IC San Nilo, Isidoro Croce of Grottaferrata (RM), readers Aurora Laurenti and Giordano Spadafora.

 

Classes: VB of Lorenzo Rocci High School of Passo Corese (RI), readers Martino Bellesia and Roberto Liguori.

 The Piero Gabrielli Integrated Theater Laboratory, directed by Roberto Gandini, coordinated the training course on reading aloud through three laboratories held at schools. Roberto Gandini (artistic director of the Festival) was joined by Maria Teresa Campus, Simonetta Graziano and Tiziana Scrocca. The musical interventions by Andrea Filippucci underlined the reading of the boys. Former Councilor Lidia Ravera with Flavia Cristiano and Romano Montroni, respectively Director and President of the Center for books and reading, conducted the final challenge together with an exceptional testimonial, Armando Traverso, radio / television author / host of RadioKids and RAI School.
