“Musical Cocktail” with String Quartet Concerts

On July 12th, at 7.00 pm, a new appointment with the concerts “Aperimusica” at the Castle of Santa Severa: a new concert of the “String Quartet” “Around the world among the notes”, in the footsteps of Phileas Fogg in a ideal trip in music of “around the world in 80..notes”. Ideally following the path of the protagonist of the tale by Jules Verne, around the world in 80 days, will be retraced a musical journey full of surprises through the culture traditions of 4 continents, elaborated for string quartet by Maestro Pino Caronia, folk songs in English, Italian, from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, Japan, China and South America that unveil the links between European cultured music and traditional Sioux songs. The event is organized by Stefano Marzolla, in collaboration with Regione Lazio, LAZIOcrea SpA, MiBACT, Municipality of Santa Marinella, Coopculture and continues in July, August and September.

“In presenting you the string quartet as we conceive it, we wanted to put the emphasis on how cultured music, conditioned and influenced other genres such as dance music and popular music, which then over time divided between ethnic, pop, giving life to various types of situations such as Dance or Jazz. The game of our Concerts/Aperitifs is to discover various types of music, but removed from the usual context. Come and take a trip with us to the cultured music that now belongs to all of us”. We’ll start at 19.00 with an aperitif that will accompany guests before the performance of the scheduled songs.
