The Controtempo Theater Company, founded and directed by Venanzio Amoroso, Danilo Franti and Lilith Petillo, will present Cyrano de Bergerac on July 27th and 28th in two replicas one at 8pm and one at 9:30 pm, inside the Castle of Santa Severa (Rome). The event is organized in collaboration with Regione Lazio, LAZIOcrea, MiBACT, the Municipality of Santa Marinella and Coopculture.
An exciting masterpiece of the art scene represented by the Controtempo Theater Company, in a completely innovative and engaging version. Cyrano is appreciated for his dexterity with words, feared for his skill with the sword and remembered for his long nose and his famous phrase: ” At the envoi’s end, I touch!” Between misunderstandings, fights, twists and declarations of love, the company Controtempo Theater stages one of the most romantic and impossible love stories ever.
