Special guided tours arrive in the most suggestive places of the Village of the Castle of Santa Severa, with a tasty offer for lunch at the Med Cafè, based on local products, to discover the beauty of our heritage together with the most famous flavors of the Northern Lazio.

The Ancient Baptistery of the Castle of Santa Severa (45 minutes)
An art historian will open exclusively for the participants the doors of the Baptistery of the Castle of Santa Severa, a small chapel with precious frescoes made in the 16th century.

The ancient walls of Pyrgi and the Roman colony of Castrum Novum (45 minutes) An archaeologist will reveal the secrets of the excavations of ancient Pyrgi, keeping us updated on the latest discoveries. It will then show visitors the monumental polygonal walls of the Roman colony, preserved below the Woodshed House and not normally accessible to the public.

The Saracen Tower of the Castle of Santa Severa (minutes)
A breathtaking panoramic view from the magnificent Saracen Tower, accompanied by an art historian who will tell the wonders of the Etruscan coast (the ancient Roman fish ponds, the remains of the port of the Etruscan Pyrgi, the famous “black sands”) , in addition to the history of the Tower itself. Then, at 1.00 pm, lunch with a reserved seat at the MedCafè with a first course to choose from pasta with cheese and pepper or carbonara, plus a glass of local wine or drink, mineral water and wine donuts. For children there are also penne pasta with tomato and basil, plus French fries and water.
